SEN Teacher

East London 

Teaching Personnel are looking for a SEND Teacher in the East London area to provide Teaching for young children with SEND and other additional needs. We are looking for a teacher with a genuine passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners who have a range of learning disabilities ranging from autism to profound and multiple learning disabilities.

What we can offer you:

● The role will be paid to scale M1 to M8 (depending on experience)

● Extensive CPD and up skilling opportunities, including access to the full Teaching Personnel CPD Academy

● A Support Team dedicated to keeping a team around the child, and ensuring that every placement is a success for the young person and you

● An opportunity to visit the School initially, have a tour and meet the SLT to get a good understanding of the children and School itself

Requirements:

● Professional Teaching Qualifications (NQT/QTS)

● Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs

● Experience, knowledge and understanding of safeguarding processes

● Enhanced DBS on the update service

● Two professional references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
