Are you a NQT, FQT or OTT with SEN or SEMH personal or teaching experience?

Our specialist partner school, based near Histon, Cambridge are looking to appoint a confident and engaging Special Needs Teacher.

To apply for this position, you should have excellent knowledge of the national primary curriculum as well as the ability to manage challenging behaviour confidently. You will be required to teach and manage the behaviour of pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), ADHD and complex needs.  

This is a long-term position with the opportunity of becoming permanent, available either full-time or part-time. Ideally, you will be able to start ASAP.

The School

  • Has smaller class sizes (approx. 6-8 per class)
  • A very supportive and enthusiastic SLT team.
  • Has a strong focus on the promotion of well-being as well as vocational and academic programmes, which parents and carers are heavily involved in.

If you:

  • Have QTS or equivalent
  • Have excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Have personal or professional experience with SEMH/SEN or have a strong desire to work within SEMH/SEN
