Teaching Personnel are looking for an excellent teacher who is enthusiastic, confident and energetic, to work in a friendly and successful SEN school in Sturminster Newton. You must be a good communicator and be able to work as a member of a large multi-disciplinary team alongside therapy staff.
This is an Outstanding (Ofsted January 2017) all age special school for pupils with a range of learning difficulties including moderate, severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism. There are 129 children from 3-19 on roll.
It is essential you have the following:
QTS
A proven track record in special or mainstream education
Can demonstrate a thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning needs for Primary pupils with SEN
It would be highly beneficial if you have experience teaching children that have special needs.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
