Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a 'good' primary school located in the S6 area of Sheffield who are seeking an experienced SEN Specialist Teacher to work within their on site Integrated Resource Unit (IR Unit).


This unit caters for students aged 5-11 who have diagnosed ASC. The successful candidate would be responsible for the planning and delivery of a sensory curriculum which will be adapted to the varying needs of the pupils, managing an exisiting team of highly experienced support assistants and carrying out assessment to ensure the learning and development for each child within the unit. 

The right candidate will have vast experience in Teaching and supporting students on with ASC, and have the ability to effectively tailor lesson plans to create an inclusive learning environement where all students can thrive. The Teacher must be able to evidence good practice, and have recent experience in Teaching within an SEN provision. 


This full time role is to start from Easter 2020, with the view to a permanent contract being offered to the right candidate.
