SEN Teacher

Job description

An Primary school in Long Buckby are currently seeking a SEN teacher or instructor for an September start. The school caters for Primary aged students. It is vital to the school that a positive learning environment is created, where both the students and the staff enjoy learning and where there are opportunities for pupils to progress. 

They have a unique curriculum to mainstream schools and believe in nurturing and supporting student's individual needs. If you have a proven track record of delivering excellence and also have a history of dealing with complex needs and challenging behaviour, then this position may be for you. The position is:
• Fridays - working from 8.30am to 1pm
• Long term - starting September
• working 1-1 with a pupil with severe SEN

About you:
• Have experience teaching students with SEN as either a teacher or instructor
• You will be confident, determined, resilient, approachable, positive and motivated.
• You will be calm, caring and conscientious
• Commitment, initiative and excellent interpersonal skills is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
