Job description

We are looking for a well-rounded SEN Teacher to support pupils across various age ranges in a primary school based in Stockport. This role provides a great opportunity to make a real difference every day. In addition to be part of a supportive forward-thinking school, committed to responding to the ever-changing needs of their students

You would be working in a range of schools teaching children with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Professional experience teaching young people with various complex needs and learning difficulties.
  •  A passion for supporting and teaching children with SEND
  • The ability to quickly adapt to various children’s needs and requirements

Must have criteria for this role is:

  • Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Be available between 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
