SEN Teacher Opportunities – SR4, Sunderland
We are currently seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers to join a welcoming and supportive school based in the SR4 area of Sunderland for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for educators who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
Key Details:
- Location: SR4, Sunderland
- Start Date: September 2026
- Daily Rate: £140–£190 (dependent on skills and experience)
- Flexible opportunities available
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN. Working closely with support staff and other professionals, you will help create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment that enables every student to thrive.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (preferred)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
Desirable (but not essential):
- A subject specialism in English, Maths, or Science

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
