About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and committed SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team in Newcastle Upon Tyne (NE1). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils with additional needs, including ADHD and ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition).
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, adaptable lessons across a range of subjects, tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. The role requires creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons across multiple subjects
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ADHD and ASC
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies where needed
- Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and external professionals
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly ADHD and ASC
- A compassionate and patient approach to teaching
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and student development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and creativity in delivering a broad curriculum
- An enhanced DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
