About the role
SEN Teacher KS3 & KS4
Location – St Austell
Contract Type – Full Time, Temporary (35 hours)
Working Hours – Monday – Friday (8:30am – 4:30pm)
Starting – Immediate
Salary - £168.80 - £232.57 per day
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a calm and structured support network for students
- Deliver lessons to KS3 & KS4 SEN classes in line with learners EHCP’s
- Deliver creative and engaging lessons
- Collaborate with the rest of the team to correctly support your students
- Contribute to the SEN department as a whole
Teaching Personnel are delighted to share that we’ve been selected by a large Multi Academy Trust covering schools across Cornwall and Devon to provide their supply and staffing support.
This means that from 1st November 2025, Teaching Personnel will be one of the approved agencies that this Trust works with directly for all their teaching, support and cover requirements.
As part of this new partnership, we’re expanding our pool of daily supply teachers to work in a range of SEN schools across Cornwall and Devon.
What we’re looking for
- QTS or equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching students with SEN
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills, dealing with students and other staff members
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
