SEN Teacher

An SEN School on the behalf of St Austell are recruiting for a SEN Teacher to start in September. This is a full time post 5 days a week. You will be teaching KS1 & KS2 students who have learning difficulties. The needs and ability of the students are mixed so a tailored teaching approach is needed. The majority of their work is photographic evidence. The school caters for PMLD, MLD and students with SEMH. The school has students from the ages of 5-18 who are all within the school. There is a 2 form entry in every year. 

The SEN School: Outskirts of St Austell. 

The Students: 5-18 with mixed needs and ability

The Hours: 08:45-15:15 5 days a week 

Pay: To Scale 

The Ideal Candidate will have the following;

Qualified Teacher status (NQTS may apply)

Be available full time 

Preferably have experience teaching within the SEN/SEMH sector 

Have school based references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
