Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in the vibrant London Borough of Southwark? We are seeking multiple dedicated SEN Teachers to join our team starting February 2024!
Position: SEN Teacher (Multiple Positions) Location: London Borough of Southwark Start Date: February 2024 Interviews: After February Half Term (ASAP).
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience working within a SEN School, either in a primary or secondary setting
• Specialized skills in areas such as Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), challenging behaviour management, and complex needs
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students
• Implement strategies to support students with various learning challenges, including autism, PMLD, challenging behaviour, and complex needs
• Collaborate with other members of the SEN team, including SENCOs and Teaching Assistants, to ensure a cohesive approach to student support
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary to facilitate maximum learning outcomes
• Establish positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and external support agencies to promote student well-being and academic achievement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
