Teaching Personnel are looking for a teacher or ta to lead interventions to SEN students in KS3 and KS4 through the National Tutoring Programme. Start date: September. Pay: £25-£35 an hour
Teaching Personnel are looking for an SEN tutor to work in an SEN setting near Nottingham from September. This role is as part of the National Tutoring Programme earning £25-£35 an hour by leading interventions in literacy, numeracy and basic skills. This role is part time with schools ideally looking for an educator available every morning/afternoon.
The successful applicant must have experience in an SEN setting and be adept at working with a variety SEND needs such as autism, ADHD as well as physical needs. Tutoring sessions will be focused on improving students’ ability in several areas from curriculum improvement to basic skills and access to lessons. Tuition would be mostly 1:1 giving you the opportunity to build strong relationships with your pupils.
Working for Teaching Personnel you will be supported by a dedicated tuition manager and offered an opportunity to take on other placements should you wish to cover a full timetable. You will be expected to report on sessions on our online platform LEAP and liaise closely with SEN staff. You must have a DBS on the update service or willing to apply before you will be able to work in school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
