Teaching Personnel - SEN Supply Teacher

Start Date: Septemeber 2025

Pay: To scale - £162 - £251p/d

Are you a dedicated and adaptable SEN Teacher looking for flexible work? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting passionate Supply SEN Teachers to support a variety of schools across [Insert Region/City], including mainstream settings with specialist provision and dedicated special schools.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across different settings while making a genuine impact on the lives of pupils with a range of special educational needs.

About the Role:

As a Supply SEN Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons and/or creating tailored content for pupils with additional needs.

  • Adapting teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and EHCP requirements.

  • Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a safe, inclusive learning environment.

  • Working collaboratively with support staff and school leadership to ensure continuity for pupils.

Assignments may vary in length from day-to-day cover to long-term placements.

We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Teachers with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

  • Proven experience working with pupils with SEN (e.g. ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD).

  • Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing, student-centered approach.

  • Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive mindset.

  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
