We are working with a specialist provision in Manchester to find a full-time Teacher to work with students with additional needs. The school provides specialist education for students with diverse learning needs, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in nurture education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that supports students’ socal, emotional and behavioural development
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment where students feel valued, respected and supported
- Provide individualised support and interventions to students based on their unique needs and circumstances
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and external agencies to develop and implement personalised support plans
- Build positive relationships with students, families and caregivers to support student well-being
- Assess student progress and wellbeing and provide regular feedback surrounding this
Requirements
- Teaching experience or specific qualification relating to nurture education
- Experience working with students with social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Strong understanding of nurture principles and practices for supporting student well-being and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy for working with students with complex needs
- Available full-time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
