SEN Teacher (Secondary)

Location: North Liverpool
Start Date: January

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in North Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across the secondary curriculum, adapting content to meet individual needs.
  • Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for students with SEN.
  • Create inclusive learning environments that promote progress and confidence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to implement tailored strategies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring all learners achieve their potential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN students in a secondary setting.
  • Ability to adapt lessons and differentiate effectively for diverse learning needs.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and student well-being.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
