SEN Teacher – Primary Schools (Dibden)

Location: Dibden, Hampshire
Position: Full-Time
Salary: £32,916 – £51,048 per annum (paid to scale)
Start Date: ASAP

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with primary schools in and around Dibden to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher for a full-time position, starting as soon as possible.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to primary-aged pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

  • Plan and adapt teaching to meet a range of additional learning needs

  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development in a nurturing environment

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and wider school staff

  • Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN or additional needs (desirable but not essential)

  • Strong understanding of inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach to teaching

Safeguarding Requirements:

  • An Enhanced Child Only DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
