Job description

Teaching personnel is the UK's leading education recruitment agency who supply ECTs, Teachers, Tutors, TAs and support staff into mainstream and SEND schools across the UK!.

Teaching Personnel are working with a number of SEND Schools and Alternative Education Provisions in Sutton and Merton that are looking for Teachers to work with them.

About the role:

  • These schools support the growth and development of pupils aged between 5-16 years and are responsible for devising a personalised curriculum for each child.
  •  Monday- Friday
  • Time: 08:30-15:30
  • Full time and part time hours available
  • You will be responsible for a class of 4-6 pupils
  • You will work with pupils with ASC, Complex needs, Challenging Behaviour and SEMH
  • Managing pupil behaviour through escalation techiques

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have lots of patience, be proactive and resilient-this role can be challenging, but it is very rewarding!
  • ECT or a QTS
  • Ideally you will have experience working within an SEND/SEMH school
  • A strong ability to develop relationships and rapport with both pupils and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
