Are you an experienced and compassionate teacher with a passion for supporting learners with special educational needs? At TP Tutors, we provide personalised one-to-one and small-group tuition to help every student thrive.
We are seeking dedicated SEN Teachers to deliver tailored tuition in Warsop and across the wider Nottinghamshire area.
About the Role
This rewarding role allows you to make a meaningful difference by supporting learners with a range of needs, including SEND and SEMH. You’ll adapt your teaching to suit individual learning styles, creating engaging lessons that build confidence, independence, and academic progress.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality SEN tuition (1:1 or small groups)

Plan and adapt lessons to meet a wide range of learning needs

Break down complex topics into accessible steps

Provide constructive feedback to learners, parents, and schools

Comply with safeguarding and child protection policies
What We’re Looking For
-
Strong knowledge of the curriculum (KS2–KS4, ideally GCSE)
-
Experience supporting students with SEND and/or SEMH needs
-
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
-
A patient, empathetic, and flexible teaching style
-
Up-to-date safeguarding training
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
