Teacher / Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant (SEN)
Based in Amersham
Start Date: 13th April | Contract: Until End of Academic Year
Role offered through Teaching Personnel
We are currently recruiting for a Teacher, Cover Supervisor, or Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school based in Amersham.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a setting that supports students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

The Role
Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons (Teacher role)
-
Supervising pre-set lessons in the absence of teaching staff (Cover Supervisor role)

Supporting students on a 1:1 or small group basis (Teaching Assistant role)
-
Managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment
-
Supporting students’ social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Have experience working with children or young people (SEN experience highly desirable)
-
Be adaptable, patient, and resilient
-
Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
-
Be passionate about supporting students with additional needs
-
Be available from 13th April through to the end of the academic year
-
Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
