Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant/Support worker or Youth worker? Are you looking for your next full time role in a mainstream Manchester Primary School? Do you have experience working with children with a range of identified needs? IF the answer to the above question is YES, then I would be interested in hearing from you!

Teaching Personnel are working along side a client Primary School in Didsbury, Manchester (M20) who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in their SEMH provision on a FULL TIME basis starting in June. The role is to work with a number of children with identified needs who need continued support to assist with their development. The setting accommodates from children from the EYFS up to KS2 who have a range of identified special educational needs, specifically SEMH. The school are looking for a calm and compassionate TA who has experience working with children with SEN who is passionate about making a difference to children's lives through their education.

As the role is to cover a maternity leave, the school are looking for a dedicated candidate who can commit to the role for one year at least!

To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Have prior experience working with children with SEN
  • Hold a level 3 TA qualification or equivalent
  • Be dedicated to assisting children in all areas of their academic and social development

  • Have strong behaviour management techniques
  • Be able to commit to the position for 1 year at least

The role is to work at an 'OUTSTANDING' Primary school in Didsbury where the head teacher is dedicated to making 'learning inclusive' for all children. The school is proud of the provision as it offers additional support for children who really need it. They are looking for a TA who will integrate with the schools happy atmosphere whilst working hard to make a difference.
