SEN TA for Pupil with ADHD - Lewisham!

SEN Teaching Assistant required for a pupil with ADHD in the Lewisham area required!

Pay in range of £60-75 depending on experience.

One of our schools which has been rated 'Good' in their latest Ofsted report is recruiting for an SEN TA in the Bexley area. This role is short-term and the school are looking for a candidate who can work full-time in assisting a SEN pupil in Year 1. There is potential that the role could become a permanent position for the candidate. The location of the school is in an easily accessible location right next to the Lewisham DLR/rail station and there are direct transport links into central London and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is confident and experienced in dealing with pupils with ADHD. Experience is essential as the role requires candidates with the right skill set to assist the pupil. Aside from this you should be familiar with working 1-on-1 with a pupil, also being the focal point of interaction for the pupil. Some of the key skills we would be looking for are patience, interpersonal skills and desire to help.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
