SEN TA, Falmouth

Teaching Personnel work closely with several large primary schools in Falmouth who often require temporary SEN support. We aim to recruit, vet and place experienced and passionate SEN specialists within these schools so we would like to hear from you if you are seeking work from September!

Most of our SEN support roles are full-time and are for a minimum of one half term. Due to the nature of these roles, we are often unable to tell how long they will span for but most TAs work for full terms or are offered direct contracts by the schools. We provide members of staff to work with new students with SEN statements, students who require additional support that the school cannot cover internally and students who are awaiting placements at specialist schools. Many of our previous supply teaching assistants are now permanent members of staff at these schools.

We are seeking applications from teaching assistants or support workers with a minimum of 1 years experience working with challenging behaviour, SEN or SEMH. We ideally look for experience on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis with Autism, ADHD, DS and SEMH. We have also previously placed teaching assistants within schools to work with physical disabilities, global delay and sensory needs. Our most successful previous candidates have been vibrant, hard-working, pro-active and extremely passionate about progress and development in young people.
