SEN Support Worker

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a support worker to work in a specialist SEN setting within a mainstream Secondary school local to Wickford, Essex. The role is to start ASAP until the end of the academic year with the potential to be extended to a permanent contract. You will be working to support the learning of a secondary aged pupil with special educational needs, including physical difficulties.
The successful candidate will:
- Be passionate and enthusiastic to work with pupils within the setting to enhance their learning and support their welfare and mental health.
- Must have experience of working with children and/or young people.
- Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.
- Preferably have experience with Personal Care, and Manual Handling.
- Ideally NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, higher or similar.
