SEN Support Staff – Derbyshire
Daily Pay: £90 – £120
Start Date: September 2025 / Immediate Starts Available

Are you a patient, resilient and passionate individual looking to support pupils with special educational needs? Teaching Personnel is working with a variety of specialist and mainstream schools across Derbyshire that are seeking SEN Support Staff to provide one-to-one and small group support for students with additional needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in care, youth work, or education who are looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Role Highlights:
Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD
Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets
Opportunities available in both primary and secondary settings
Competitive daily pay of £90 – £120, paid weekly
Full-time and part-time roles available
Access to CPD training, including Autism Awareness, Safeguarding & Team Teach

Ideal Candidates Will:
✅ Have experience working with children or young people with additional needs
✅ Be calm, compassionate and adaptable
✅ Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
✅ Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the update service
✅ Be confident supporting learners 1:1 or in small groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
