Are you looking for your next step as a Teaching assistant?

Would you like to work in ‘Ofsted’ graded ‘outstanding’ schools?

We are currently working with ‘Outstanding’ Primary and Secondary schools in Rochdale and Tameside and they are currently looking to employ Teaching Assistants to support in their schools in the new academic year when support will be needed for young people with SEMH and Autism.

Ideally the successful candidate will have the relevant training and experience of working with Special Educational Needs. The schools are looking for candidates who will be able to continue the ‘Outstanding’ reputation the schools have and continue to provide support to pupils within a broad, creative and inspiring curriculum. These schools have a large focus on promoting and developing life skills and as such the successful candidate would need to be motivated, passionate and have the right attitude to help support the children through their educational journey.

Working as a Teaching Assistant you would be required to work with children with a variety of needs as well as supporting those pupils through 1:1 support, helping them develop their academic and life skills. You will be required to support the classroom teacher by developing positive relationships with the students helping the teacher deliver the ‘outstanding’ lessons that are provided.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Level 1, 2, 3 TA or HLTA
  • Experience working with children with Autism, PMLD, SLD, SEMH or challenging behaviours in Educational environments.
  • A passion to improve the lives of students through a variety of teaching techniques.
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for continued improvement for the students and yourself.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have the desire to enhance the school’s ‘Outstanding’ reputation and have the capacity to adapt and develop within a constantly improving school.
