SEN - Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants urgently required in Ely, Cambridgeshire for a SEN School for pupils with BESD / EBD / SEMH

Long-term full-time and part-time positions available

Excellent rates of pay

Extremely supportive School with the opportunity of becoming permanent

Special Education Needs Teaching Assistants urgently required to work in a local School on a long-term basis and to start asap with an understanding of supporting pupils within a small class and also one to one.

The school provides education and support to pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties and comes highly recommended from all staff that are currently working there. They now require extra support due to expansion and are looking to appoint several Teaching Assistants who have experience working with pupils with special educational needs, in particular, Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties or Social, Emotional & Mental Health

Initially you will go in for a working interview to determine suitability, for the pupils, the School but also yourself.

We offer Team Teach training to support the role and extra training is also provided at the School.

Unfortunately, due to the location of the School, ideally you will have your own transport, however, if you do not, taxis will be required to and from the School which can be costly.

If you have experience working within a residential School and/or experience working with children with BESD /SEMH or SEN please get in touch asap with our SEN Consultant Caroline
