We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant for a role in an SEN school supporting children of secondary school age with Autism and PMLD. This position is based in the Bolton area.

The Teaching Assistants job will be to assist the pupils in their learning and development and aid the teacher with delivering lessons.

The needs of these pupils are moderate to severe, therefore the successful candidate will have some experience with SEN either personally or professionally.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Safeguarding training or knowledge
  • Experience of SEN
  • Ability to built relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • Adaptable
  • Kind, caring manner
