Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant – Primary Outreach
Location: Plymouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (term-time only)
Pay: £90 – £95 per day

We are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a Primary outreach team in Plymouth from September.
This role is focused on working with younger children in a 1:1 and small group capacity, supporting those with a range of additional needs (including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH). The position involves travelling to different outreach settings, so the ability to drive with business insurance is essential.
The Role:

Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for primary-aged pupils with SEN

Encouraging engagement through creative, practical, and flexible approaches to learning

Building strong, supportive relationships to promote emotional and academic development

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure consistent support
Requirements:

Previous experience working with SEN children in a primary setting (school, outreach, or care background considered)

A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach

Ability to drive with business insurance

Strong communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
