Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant - Leatherhead

Location: South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead

Salary: £385+ a week

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
• Assisting teachers with lesson planning and implementation tailored to individual student needs
• Helping students with academic tasks and personal care when required
• Supporting students in developing social and communication skills
• Collaborating with other school staff to create a supportive learning environment

Required:

• Experience working with individuals with SEN
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
• Understanding of ASD and associated needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
