Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant - Leatherhead
Location: South East England, Surrey, Leatherhead
Salary: £385+ a week
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting
- Assisting teachers with lesson planning and implementation tailored to individual student needs
- Helping students with academic tasks and personal care when required
- Supporting students in developing social and communication skills
- Collaborating with other school staff to create a supportive learning environment
Required:
- Experience working with individuals with SEN
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them
- Understanding of ASD and associated needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
