SEN Learning Support Assistant - Immediate Start

A Special Needs school in Farnborough are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support their pupils SEN requirements:

About the candidate:

- Have previous experience working with people with Special Needs

- Be flexible and adaptable to the needs and requirements of the school and its pupils

- Be prepared to muck in, and build relationships with both the staff and pupils

- Demonstrate the ability to engage with pupils at all levels

About the school:

The school has been rated "Outstanding" in their latest Ofsted report. Pupils are aged between 2-18 years, they have Complex Learning Difficulties to include:

- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties

- Severe Learning Difficulties

- Lower end Moderate Learning Difficulties

- Speech and Language

- There is also an element of personal care and hygiene assistance required

This is a lovely environment to work in, and the school would like the TA to come in and hit the ground running. Getting involved with the pupils and staff from the get-go, and a genuine interest in Special Needs is a must. Cover is required 08:30 - 15:30 each day. We have various other positions that come in regularly for a TA in SEN schools, so there is an opportunity to work at many schools in your area, both on day to day supply and long term placements.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
