Your new school
A Primary School in Hammersmith & Fulham are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support their children with SEN.
Your new job
Your role as a SEN Teaching Assistant will involve working 1:1 and supporting individual children's learning on a regular basis. You will build relationships with these children and be their first point of support.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for primary teaching assistant opportunities in Hammersmith & Fulham you must have recent and relevant experience as a primary teaching assistant either in a voluntary or paid capacity. You must also have a passion for working with primary aged pupils and be dedicated to making a positive impact on their learning and development. You will have a Level 3 qualification or alternatively extensive SEN experience supporting children in the Primary phase who have emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) or exercise other complex and challenging behaviours.
The challenges you will face day to day mean you must be a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a key passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and the desire to have a positive impact on building good relationships with staff and students. You will need to have good time keeping and preparation skills in order to be a fantastic asset to the school. As per Department for Education (DfE) guidelines you will need to be able to provide full identification copies and reference details from the relevant experience you have previously gained in this or a similar setting.
If you are interested in this position then send your CV to matthew.dawson@teachingpersonnel.com or give Matt a call on 02075933088. You can also get in contact if you want to find out what other opportunities we have in primary schools in Hammersmith & Fulham.
