If you are then Teaching Personnel have the role for you. We are current working with a large and well connected primary school in Edgware. The schools ethos is to provide a "foundation for life in a happy, high achieving school, where all individuals have high expectations of themselves, respect each other and fulfil their true potential". In addition our client school strives on providing a welcoming atmosphere for all of it pupils and its members of staff. They are looking for a graduate Teaching Assistant to start in Sep 2016 to work in a year 1 class.

The role:

You will be given a number of responsibilities within the classroom such as tutoring, helping with small group work, 1:1 sessions, helping facilitate individual education programmes and supporting the classroom teacher on an everyday basis. If you have some experience working with children on EHCP’s or have experience with SEN it will help. It is a full time role and expected to continue until the end of the academic year.

Characteristics and skills:

• A degree 2:1 or higher

• Understanding of behavioural patterns

• 6 weeks of experience working with either KS1 or KS2 pupils

• Patient, caring and warm personality

Location:

Situated close to public transport and with a large car park this school is easily assessable via the underground or if you drive. With beautiful green parks only a 10 minute walk away you can be sure that after your school day you can relax and unwind before going home.
