Teaching Personnel are working with an SEN Secondary school in the Bolton area who are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to support their students with complex ASC (autism spectrum condition). This is a full-time role starting ASAP Monday - Friday.

The school:

• Ensure students feel supported and encouraged to reach their full potential

• Have excellent outdoor facilities for the students to learn

Responsibilities:

• Handle challenging behaviours and de-escalate situations

• Support the students in their personal and educational development

• Quickly build rapport with students

• Work as a team with other staff and the teacher

• Have an innovative approach to learning

Requirements:

• Have a good amount of experience working with students with ASC

• Be able to confidently handle challenging behaviours

• Have a nurturing and patient personality

• Work well as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
