At Teaching Personnel, we are passionate at what we do! We are responsible for supporting young people with a variety of different SEN and SEMH needs, and I am looking for educators in Ilford who are equally as passionate about teaching young people with their individual needs and interests in mind to bridge gaps in their learning!

Our 1:1 tuition roles support young people are aren’t currently accessing mainstream school and are waiting for a school placement. Our tuition is put in place to bridge gaps in their learning, help them learn life and social skills while aiming to re-engage them with school.

I am looking specifically for SEN specialists or Early Years (EYFS) experienced Educators who would be confident working with young people who have SEN needs. Some SEN needs that our young people have are:

  • Autism (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Global Development Delay
  • ODD
  • Non verbal

So you will need to feel confident and comfortable supporting young people on a 1:1 with these needs!

As a tutor, you will need to …

  • Be confident in creating resources in lines with the UK National Curriculum and EYFS framework.
  • Deliver stimulating resources to young people, which are tailored to their needs and interests.
  • Be able to build a rapport with students.
  • Write session reports about what was covered in sessions so that we can track the progress and content being covered.
  • Have SEN/ SEMH experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
