SEMH Tutors - Sherborne

Teaching Personnel work closely with a number of local authorities and SEN services, we are responsible for finding the appropriate tutors to support the educational and personal development of young children and teenagers across Dorset and surrounding areas.

We are currently seeking experienced Teachers or Tutors, across all subject matters, including core and vocational subjects across the entire Primary and Secondary curriculum.

About the pupils

In this role you will be supporting individuals with a variety of special educational needs, circumstances and learning needs. This may include those pupils who are looked after, have difficulty engaging with mainstream education or have a variety of complex needs. This may include: Autism, ADHD, Anxiety or depression, disengaged and unenthusiastic behaviour.

Required qualifications/experience

  • Bachelors degree
  • PGCE / QTS Status
  • Overseas Teacher Training
  • Minimum of two years teaching experience

Working with Teaching Personnel

  • Flexible working hours, during the day and after school
  • Weekly pay
  • ÂŁ25 - ÂŁ27 per hour

It is likely as a Tutor it will be required to travel to various locations, so access to own transport is preferred.
