Behaviour Teaching Assistant - required

I am currently seeking a teaching assistant for a full time temporary role based in Dorchester. The role is at a Secondary school that caters for young people who have been excluded from mainstream school. The young people can display challenging behaviour, however this is a very rewarding role when you see the difference you can make with our pupils.

We have small class sizes of around 6 pupils per class, there may be some 1-1 support involved in this role.

Essential Skills:

-Experience supporting young people for 3-6 months

-GCSE in English and Maths

Desired Skills:

-Child care Qualification

-Team Teach Qualification

-Experience working in a school

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
