Learning Mentors Required for a PRU in Stockport

  • Experience in supporting vulnerable children!
  • Able to deliver to small groups?
  • Pay scale up to £60 per day

A Pupil Referral Unit in Stockport is desperately seeking a positive, enthusiastic Learning Mentor with exceptional behaviour management skills.

The PRU is based in Stockport and offers an alternative curriculum to students aged 11 – 16 who have been permanently excluded from mainstream education.

As a Learning Mentor, it is essential that you have a good standard of education and are able to identify areas of improvement required when working on a 1:1 basis. You will also support across a range of vocational courses, such as Construction and Hospitality, and Outdoor Education activities.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
