EBD Teaching Assistants Required

My client is a small provisional unit based in the Sittingbourne area. The school offers an assessment and intervention service for mainstream schools and academies in the local area. The aim of the service is to provide advice, assessments, therapeutic and educational intervention to help improve the difficulties and behaviours of the most challenging, troubled and disaffected children and adolescents so that they can continue in or return to be educated in mainstream schools.

The school are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to work alongside, support and engage with pupils to enable them to have a successful learning experience. Do to the challenging behaviour of pupils you must be robust with excellent communication skills.

If you have experience or feel confident in at least 2 of the following please get in touch:

•Youth Offending Services

•Ex-forces, Military/Police

•Sports coaching qualification or background

•Team Teach/SKIP, CPI, MAPA Physical Intervention Training

•Supporting NEET

•Experience supporting challenging behaviour within an out of school setting

•Emotionally Robust

Relevant qualifications and experience will be highly beneficial, yet it will be your ability to build relationships and increase pupils attainment and sense of worth that will make you a success.
