Teaching Assistant with SEMH experience required in Wigan

A fantastic full-time opportunity, with an immediate start has arisen for a SEMH specialist or experienced Teaching Assistant at on of our 'Good' graded partner secondary school located in the Wigan LEA.

• Full-time SEMH Teaching Assistant required
• Immediate start date with employment on a temporary basis for 12 months
• Competitive rates of pay with earning of up to £65 per day.
• Previous experience working with students with identified needs is beneficial.

The school's SENCO has requested that applicants will ideally possess previous experience of working within a similar environment or alongside children aged 11-16, in particular with special educational needs. If successful then you will be employed to work alongside other experienced education professionals and you will be required to assist them with the ongoing social and educational development of identified students.

This opportunity may involve working on a 1:1 basis, small group activities or within a general class environment.This opportunity is initially a full-time role with employment on a temporary basis, there may be an opportunity for contract extension/permanent contract in the future.
