Do you have a back ground in sports coaching or Training? Are you interested in a career in the Education sector?

Teaching Personnel are working with a SEN school in Swanwick that are currently looking for an energetic, sporty person to work with pupils with a range of social, emotional and mental health disorders. The school caters for children from age 11 to 16.

You will be supporting the Teacher in smaller than average classes, usually 5 to 8 pupils per class, with all teaching assistant duties and keeping the pupils engaged in learning. This SEN school uses a creative and interactive approach to learning which is why they are seeking to appoint someone with a sporting background. They also use sports as rewards for good behaviour and learning.

This will be a challenging role as the behaviour can be quite extreme but it is highly rewarding and a great way to get into the education sector. All training needed will be provided and the school has a very supportive network of high level teaching staff, health professions and other support assistants.
