SEMH Teacher

Our Hampshire SEN Branch are currently working exclusively with several provisions in the Basingstoke area and we are looking for experienced SEMH Teachers to join our growing team this year and help rebuild the school structures when hopefully they reopen in September.

The position is to work with children who have various learning difficulties as well as pastoral and behavioural difficulties.

About the Role

As an SEMH Teacher, you will support the named pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis and be able to work alongside other professionals including social workers, local authorities to ensure the child's lesson plans are accessible. The school do offer bespoke educational plans for each pupil, so successful candidates will be required to adapt their teaching to each individual pupil.

Requirements

For the position, you must have experience working with children who display SEMH, EBD, ADHD and very vulnerable children including Looked after Students (LAC).

Salary and Benefits

Depending on experience and qualifications.

Roles are payable in line with the standard pay scale, including SEN allowance

Being represented by Teaching Personnel you will be assigned to one dedicated consultant, and have full access to ongoing CPD courses.
