Position: SEMH School Teacher (Secondary) Start Date: June Salary: £30,000 upwards (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEMH needs
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and academic achievement
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies and support students in developing social and emotional skills
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, therapists, and support staff to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Provide regular feedback to students and support their academic and personal growth

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching secondary-age pupils
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on learning and behaviour
  • Passion for working with young people with SEMH needs and a commitment to their holistic development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
