Job description

Are you an experienced and resilient Teacher with QTS looking to inspire and support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

A well-respected specialist provision in Bournemouth is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join their team full-time from September 2025.

You will be working with secondary-aged students (11–16) in a setting designed to support those who benefit from a nurturing, restorative, and structured learning environment.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons adapted to SEMH and SEN needs

  • Teach a small cohort of students with tailored curriculum objectives

  • Use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to behaviour management

  • Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider pastoral team

  • Foster resilience, confidence, and positive progress in every pupil

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
