SEMH Specialist Teachers Required for Prudhoe School

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Provision in Prudhoe for Secondary and Post 16 SEMH Pupils. We are looking to recruit Teachers for a range of subjects and those experienced working with pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Ideally applicants would have experience with SEMH, challenging behaviours either in an alternative provision/PRU setting or mainstream secondary. An additional qualification such as Team Teach is desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applications from Newly Qualified Teachers.

The ideal candidate will have:

-6 months experience teaching students with SEMH in a mainstream or SEN setting

- Strong presence and excellent behaviour management

-Team Teach Trained and a good understanding of SEMH/EBD

-Holds a PGCE
