Are you passionate about supporting students with specialist needs? Do you specialise in IT & Creative Media? If so, we are working with a specialist school in the Stockport area to recruit an SEMH Teacher specialising in the above.
The chosen individual would be supporting students aged 11-18 years with social, emotional and mental health needs, communication and mild learning difficulties.
The ideal candidate will be pro-active in ensuring the maximum quality of care to their students. As our client aims to do the best for every young person that joins the school; as they maintain the belief that everyone deserves recognition, respect and is unique.
The ideal SEMH Teacher will be:
- Experienced in teaching within an IT/Creative Media setting
- Skilled in working with SEMH, confident in supporting students with emotional and behavioural challenges
- Available to work between 08:30-16:00
It would also be beneficial for applicants to have:
- Confidence in supporting instances of challenging behaviour
- Experience in supporting young people in a school or care environment within the UK
- A positive, nurturing and proactive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
