Secondary Teaching Assistant

A secondary PRU in Bournemouth is looking for support staff to take on full time roles. 

• Getting to know students and their needs to provide individualised support.
• Working within a classroom setting to support students and other staff members.
• Promoting a positive and safe learning environment for all children and staff.
• Dealing with possibly challenging behaviour in a structured and helpful way.

For this role, you should:

• Have previous experience working with children with additional needs.
• Be able to commit to a full-time role to provide continuity for the students.
• Have experience dealing with challenging behaviour and know effective methods to handle this.
• Be comfortable providing personal care if other staff need assistance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
