If you are confident that you can make a real impact and are open to developing your knowledge of secondary education and supporting behavioural difficulties we want to hear from you!

A small secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham are looking for budding graduates for a year long contract working with pupils in preparation for their GCSE and vocational qualifications. Pupils within the school have struggled in mainstream settings and due to this they need a confident academic support throughout the year.

The school "do not accept that previous poor experiences should impact on the opportunities for students to achieve well" and focus heavily on personalised learning programmes to ensure effective support (Ofsted 2015). You will support pupils with their personal learning plans daily while assessing and recording their progress.

  • Exceptional Mainstream Secondary School in Hammersmith, seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant

  • Full-time role Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4pm school term time
  • Supporting students with Maths, English, PSHE and/or technology
  • Working with students with low-level behavioural difficulties
  • Receive on-going from passionate and motivational Teachers and Senior Leaders
  • A UK degree qualification is required along with GCSEs of grade C or above in Maths, English or Science.

Working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant will give you invaluable experience on both the educational, pastoral and social welfare of young people. You will have a chance to build positive relationships while gaining skills which can help to support you in your future career choice.

To apply for this position please send over your CV to Rachel, this will then be sent directly to the school's headteacher. The school will have an initial interview from January 7th for an immediate start.
