Teaching Personnel is seeking enthusiastic, adaptable, and motivated secondary teachers to work across partner schools in Sheffield. We welcome every secondary teacher regardless of subject background, including specialists in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, and Creative Studies such as performing arts, design, and art. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher or an experienced secondary teacher, this is an excellent opportunity to secure flexible work, long-term placements, or permanent roles teaching English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, or Creative Studies in supportive environments.

About the Role
As a secondary teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 and, where appropriate, Key Stage 5 in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, or Creative Studies.

  • Plan, prepare, differentiate, and assess learning to meet pupil needs.

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Manage behaviour confidently in line with school policies.

  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to support achievement.

  • Work with subject departments and pastoral teams.

  • Fulfil wider professional duties, including safeguarding responsibilities.

About You
We are seeking a committed secondary teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.

  • Has experience teaching English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, or Creative Studies at secondary level.

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Is flexible and confident in varied school environments.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

  • Holds, or is willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check.

About the Role
As a secondary teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 and, where appropriate, Key Stage 5 in subjects including English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, or Creative Studies.

  • Plan, prepare, differentiate, and assess learning to meet the needs of all pupils and maintain high academic standards.

  • Establish a calm, inclusive, and purposeful learning environment that promotes achievement, respect, and curiosity.

  • Manage classroom behaviour confidently in line with school policies while building strong relationships with pupils.

  • Monitor progress using assessment data and provide clear feedback to support attainment and progress.

  • Collaborate with subject departments, pastoral teams, and senior leaders to contribute to whole-school improvement.

  • Fulfil wider professional duties, including safeguarding responsibilities, form-time support, meetings, and school events.

About You
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic secondary teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has experience teaching English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, or Creative Studies at secondary level.

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Is flexible, proactive, and confident working in varied school environments and with diverse learner needs.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

  • Holds, or is willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check.
