Teaching personnel are looking for supply teachers of ALL subjects to provide day to day cover for secondary schools in the Torbay location!

This is the perfect role for someone who is looking for a flexible position that they can balance with their other commitments! The role is term time only and offers very competitive day rates!

Your role as a supply teacher will involve...

• Working in schools in Torbay as and when is convenient for you
• Providing excellent classroom management
• Monitoring pupil progress and reporting this at the end of the day
• Maintaining the same standard of care and education to pupils as expected

You will not need to prepare resources and the role will be very varied and every day will be different! We are looking for a reliable individual who is open to new opportunities and has an enthusiasm for teaching.

The right candidate will need...

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• A passion for education and interest in supporting pupils
• A drivers licence and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential)

• A DBS on the update service – In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of GBP40, plus an annual subscription fee of GBP13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
