Secondary Teacher - Core Subjects

If you are a teacher of Maths, English or Science at Secondary level, and have SEN experience, we have the perfect role for you.

Our partners in the Manchester area are looking to recruit Teachers who can successfully deliver core subjects to secondary students with special educational needs.
You will be responsible for teaching a small group of students who have a range of needs such as ASC, SLD and PMLD, for which there are Teaching Assistants assigned to each class to support their specific needs and manage behaviour. Your role will be to deliver the core subject appropriately to fit the learning styles of the group, making it engaging experience.
The students in the class will be at similar levels in terms of learning however Teachers should remain adaptable and have a creative approach to teaching to help the students get the best understanding of the subject.

Although most behaviour and personal handling will be covered by Teaching Assistants in the class, it is essential for Teachers to have necessary training such as Team-Teach to be able to manage any crisis situation which may arise.
